I've been a fan of Marin Sun Farms' sustainability practices for a long time, having bought their meat in Oakland.
Came here as part of the Food and Farm Tours of West MarinThe decor is really cuteFur lined seats are so comfy and chic.

"We had the spice roasted chicken, black vinegar pork belly, and pork shoulder stew. Each dish was delicious in its own way, with deep developed flavors that come at you with waves. We ordered our food with extra spice and while it was hot, it worked perfectly with the flavors in the dish, and I would recommend adding chili oil or jalapeño powder to anyone who likes spice. The guy at the window was super nice and helpful, and made the whole experience fun and memorable. I will definitely go back. This is now one of my favorite restaurants in the Bay Area."

"Great for fresh vegetables and fruit. Not so good for packaged or canned brands I'm familiar with, they are more expensive or unavailable. I still have to stop by Trader Joe's or Fairfax Market for things they don't carry, like Triscuits, Brown Cow yogurt, Salt Vinegar potato chips, etc. they do have the best chocolate croissants I've found. Good selection of specialty coffee and tea but expensive. Great selection of bulk items."

"A nice place for fresh sashimi. Prepared well and meticulously served with a pleasing appearance. I would definitely go again. Had the rainbow and California maki. The salmon teriyaki bento. Well portioned and we'll balanced."

"I decided to try El Rey because it was brand new. Food was exceptionally good; however service could use some training. It was late lunch weekday and only occupied tables with mine included. Food and drink came relatively quick, but I had to ask for the bill and I noticed one other table also had to request. There were no requests for desserts or another round of drinks asked. I really think management could use some table service sessions to promote business."

"What 's not to like love! about this wonderful Dr.Insomniac 's Cafe Coffee Roastery coffee, breakfast/lunch/bakery/ anytime food , and wonderful ambiance establishment in downtown Novato! It 's like going to Grandma 's house! The beautiful remodeled historic building and location of the 1893 blacksmith shop The Fashion Shop of Stephen Porcella with Porcella family house is on the Nat 'l Reg. of Historic Places. The family who operates this wonderful food and coffee establishment put a lot of thought and love into making everything just right! The BEST!"
