"The great thing about camping in Picquigny is that it was so quiet and relaxing. The down side was the total lack of things you take for granted in a city: banks, shops and restaurants! There is one eaterie open, so with somewhat restrained excitement we entered. To our delight, despite the lack of any form of competition, the husband and wife team who run Les Oliviers attract locals and tourists alike. The 23 euro menu was excellent and truly filling: thank God for the walk back to the campsite! The food was absolutely freshly cooked and there was no attempt to hurry us along or any delay in proceedings. This is a really great, off the beaten track, place to enjoy French cuisine."
