Seriously what can I say that is wrong with the restaurant.....food was excellent as was the service, from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. Considering the restaurant was full, the girls on the floor did an excellent job of topping up the wine glasses and water as well....there was no catching their attention to do it.A quick walk across the way to a wine tasting at Keith Tulloch a great way to end the... What Unai Rosado doesn't like about Muse Kitchen at Keith Tulloch Winery:
Had read so much about this restaurant and wanted to try.Dont travel at night so we go out for lunch and never on the weekends, as we leave this time for the people who go to work weekdaysYou should think of people like us and carter not only on weekends and night trade. View all feedback.
Muse Kitchen is only open 1 night per week - Saturday - which is a pity because the quality of the food was very high. (It is more open for Lunch). The evening menu is limited - a couple of appetisers, 4 Entrees and 4 Main courses and 3 Desserts to choose from, but our difficulty was in choosing what to have. The corn fed chicken and confit duck leg were both served with perfectly chosen additions and sauces and this is what a quality meal should provide. Obviously, top quality local ingredients were used. Entrees were $22 and Mains all $36 but they do offer a banquet menu for $75, inspired by the chef, which we did not opt for on the night but appears to b e great value.
Everything about our meal was great. We shared the chicken liver pate and the pumpkin with blue cheese! Absolutely Devine. The gnocchi was a hit as was the delicious pannacotta dessert. The service was outstanding. We will definitely be back!
It's always nice when you walk into somewhere you normally wouldn't and you are made to feel as welcome as a local. This is Muse Kitchen. The staff were just adorable, friendly and kind but not overly so. They were all so neat in their aprons and the place was spotlessly clean. We are poor and eat like birds so sharing was the way to go as usual. The kangaroo was divine. I so wish I could eat like this every day!
From the moment we walked into this bright, beachy, relaxed restaurant we were impressed. We ordered the kangaroo, which was divine, as was the side of butternut pumpkin with blue cheese which was a huge serving! The desert was also lovely, rich and fruity (we got the orange frangipane). The waitress was friendly, if somewhat slow to collect our plates and deliver the bill, but otherwise excellent.
We were a group of four here for a relaxing Friday afternoon lunch. They were almost full so quite busy and probably could have had 1 more wait staff working on the floor as the man who appeared to be in charge seemed a little frazzled. Our waitress was lovely and very helpful with our menu choices. The food was superb. This restaurant has a lovely vibe to it and is in a gorgeous location. Afterwards we walked across for a leisurely wine tasting at Keith Tulloch and it was a great way to complete the afternoon. We would definitely return when in the area again.
