Called today to update Tourist information from Centre next door; looking for a late lunch, was astonished by the quality of food provided and the Service was excellent. Note the name change to "PK's on Pokolbin Cafe". Many a "Nomad" should call in and sample the foods available at reasonable prices. Ample parking available for all. read more.

In beautiful weather you can even be served in the outdoor area.

If you are after a standard breakfast such as eggs, bacon and toast then this place does it fairly well. There's nothing overly special about the breakfast menu. We sat outside and it had a lovely view. Staff were very nice. read more.

We only went in for a drink , but they had decent quality craft beers on tap and great wines. The food being delivered to the other tables looked good

We stayed the night in Cessnock after wine tasting across Hunter Valley let's just say there weren't many options close to our motel we made our way

"Super impressed by kawul. very friendly waiting staff and a beautiful balcony setting. we had the house made damper with garlic butter, gnocchi with macadamia cream and burger. all vegan and tasty! big weine from the weinberg and made home so. that is beautiful, opposite the weinberg. in any case recommend when they are in the hunter."

"A impeccable service from the time when you arrive. we were greeted by megan, who opened the doors for us and welcomed us cordially in us, who really set the ton for the service before place. she continued her attentive and professional service during our stay. it was a little loud in which we sat (near the service counter,) but the decor was tasteful, and we were comfortable relatiw despite this. I had the scallops for entrée, which were cooked nicely, and the accompanying sweet breads were delectable and added great texture. for the pornstars, I ordered the cadry and whistle, although it was pleasant to eat, and I had no real complaining, it was the least preferred of the three courses. it came with what was promised on the menu and each element was quite delicious, but the combination just didn't work for me. I'll try something else next time. to dessert I had the baked alaska, a divine finish at the meal and hands down my favourite course. between the curses there was a little waiting, but we had nothing to do with it, because this was the main event for our group, which would be to catch up if they rushed us through the meal. we could sit and chat, and actually found it very relaxing. we did not even notice the waiting time to be honest. we had been presented with some very delicious appetitzüglers who have taken our hunger until the first cursor came out and I am sure that this has helped enormously! However, if they want a quick feed, or on a period, I would recommend finding another option. overall it was a very pleasant experience. all my friends and I (group of 5) had a really funny time and went home with full and happy mutilation."
