The server at the bar treated us with disdain upon entering, saying speak English, not Italian. Clearly, my Italian was not acceptable to him. We had a perfectly pleasant drink, I went to ask for the check, he ignored me, took two people in front of me, then did not respond when I asked if I had done something to make him unhappy with us.
