A very good restaurant set in an old wine cave in central Poligny. Menu features local dishes from Burgundy, Jura, Comte. I had a dozen escargot for a starter (big, delicious) and fondue with local cheese/wine for my main (with a supplement plate of charcuterie, homemade fries, and salad ... which was really too much). Wait staff was attentive as they could be, given how busy they were and just two of them working. View all feedback.

The service was very unfriendly, like they had a fobia for tourists. There weren't a lot of clients, but we had to waith an endless long time to even order a drink (Whilst they the staff was with 3 members). The place was full of flies, no atmosphere in the room (even no charming French or Italian music on the background). The food was even worse than the service. Wonderful place very friendly and very good I highly recommend
Nice discovery. Passing to Poligny. No terrace but a place very appreciated given the heat. Curved style. Good local cuisine. A treat with the crust and the fondue... even by this heat. I recommend. Easy to park on the large square
First a very nice setting in a pretty vaulted room with the well visible cellar. Then a simple but very good meal and for a very honest rate accompanied by a very good yellow wine of the region. And the very correct service. We were on the way and stopped by chance... it was a nice surprise. We hold the address and advise it.
Great meal with sublime country products, the only regret is that I live very far from there, but I will return to it
We ate very well at the Sergeant's: we took a well-copying and delicious Jura salad, and a very good yellow wine trout, also served with several small vegetable accompaniments. We were no longer hungry for dessert! We went there a Monday night in the middle of August, the room was full, but when we went there early we could have a table even if we hadn't booked.
