"Turned off by the harbour front restaurants we ventured into town on our first day for lunch. Warm welcome, great wine selection and a lovely cheese and charcuterie selection. Highly recommend Chez DD for a visit if you are in Honfleur and this is your idea of a great relaxed lunch stop."

"We arrived at Pont Audemer on a rainy day and decided to have lunch more to get shelter than because we were hungry. We chose The Gargoyle because it was there and because a creperie offers an inexpensive choice. We had two very good gallets...and a pitcher of cider. All were very good, and the plates on the other tables looked all enticing. Service were prompt and the cost, as expected, very reasonable."
