It was a Monday and very few restaurants were open. We chanced upon this place. Our first bottle of wine was off. The steak and mushrooms we had was vinegary. Fortunately I won't be going again View all feedback.
Came here for the pilgrim menu and the staff were so helpful and attentive. Great food got a really good vegetarian recommendation. Good value and experience would recommend
We had two meals here. The first the place was full of locals having a good time, and there was room for us only in the section behind the front area. We were alone there and it felt a bit un-convivial. We ordered fresh fresh fish, and waited. After about 20 minutes the waiter returned and informed us that the fish was not available.....anyway we chose something else and enjoyed the meal. The second time we were in the front area and it was not very crowded. We had fresh fish, with slightly smooshed potatoes and cabbage fried with garlic. It was very tasty and enjoyable. I like the decor of the restaurant. The floor tiles, the gentle greys and sand colours of the walls, tables etc. Very pleasing to the eye.

A restaurant in a side street, in the Historical centre of Ponte de Lima, serving traditional food. We visited in March, and had fish, Hake in batter, whole sea bass and Salmon. All the dishes came with green salad and potato fries plus rice, which is normal in this area. All the food was well cooked, especially the Hake. We had the vino Verde white wine, which was good. Enjoyed the food so much we went back the next night. Not expensive, and the daughter of the owner speaks good English which helped. We shall go again when in Ponte de Lima.
Basic food, good service. They have a vegetarian option on the menu.
