"What do you want in a meal? That it looks attractive? Sure. That it is unholy expensive? For some, it seems. That it tastes heavenly? Definitely!! This modest Osteria at the crest of a saddle pass accessed from the south by a series of hairpin bends is just perfect. A very limited menu means you try stuff you might not have considered otherwise. It alternated when we we there (three times in ten days! between two menus, but this also changes with the seasons. The atmosphere is very rustic and homey. One of the most enjoyable eating experiences I can remember. Extremely highly recommended!"

"If you're a meat eater, this is your place! They're open on the weekends and for special occasions, so check their website before you go. All of their food is locally grown and raised, and the quality is readily apparent with the first bite. As far as I can tell, you can pretty much have any cut you desire; if it's really unique you may want to contact them in advance. For folks who do not speak Italian, Carla will be happy to guide you through your meal in English. This is a must go for anyone who appreciates quality meats and innovative seasonal side dishes."
