I’m going to be honest, it’s been a while since I’ve been here and I just ordered 2 salads. One had chicken on it and the other had no meat at all. Just veggies, quinoa and some fruit which was great. No beverage other than water. It was $40 for 2 salads! The food is very good, but not for that price. I was also turned off by the suggestion of a 22% tip for a place that is counter service and not a full service resta... View all feedback.
What Anna McFarland doesn't like about Mcflamingo:
I was hot, tired, and ready for a relaxing lunch. I walked in to see a very large blackboard describing all of the items but there were no prices listed. I asked to see a menu with prices but was told I’d need to go online for that. I could easily do that but it annoyed me so much that their pricing wasn’t transparent that I left. Thankfully, just a few doors down is Beach Diner. I had an excellent salad there. View all feedback.
Delicious, fresh but expensive. The cauliflower salad i had was excellent and huge but it was also $18. Kind of pricey, i thought.
The food is very good…fresh and healthy. The service is also good…friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is why I have to rate the restaurant 2 stars. The music is totally unacceptable for patrons to eat and enjoy their experience. It’s loud and headbanger type music. WHY would any restaurant want to stress out their patrons with that type music? I’m a music lover, but I NEVER want to eat in a hyped up environment. I know others who feel the same way, so they order take out. I do the same most of the time, but it would be nice to eat there without having headbanger music blasted at me. I’ve spoken to the lead person more than once, but they don’t seem to care. Other customers have said they eat outside for that reason. When it’s 95 degrees, that’s not an option for me…and shouldn’t have to be. PLEASE reconsider a more reasonable genre of music and volume to suit the preferences of all. You’re considered a healthy restaurant choice, so you want people to be anxious (even if they aren’t aware what the music is doing to them) while eating your healthy food?
Liked the food, but beware of their packaging. It dripped all over the floor of my car. They called back and made some amends with me so I changed my rating.

Delicious-fresh food! A must visit each time we come to the beach. Friendly and welcoming staff.I had the amazing Raisin Coconut Salad. My husband enjoyed the Shrimp Curry. The sweet potato is also GREAT!Glutten free, dairy free (except for some cheeses). We look forward to our next time here.
