Stopped by to try the legendary Pengkang of Mempawah, ±90 mins from airport. The place is by the street-you can easily find it. We stopped by at 8 and alhamdulillah actually it already opened. Pengkang is like lemper but with shrimp. It's glutinous rice with shrimp wrapped in banana leaf, grilled. Served with sambal.
