"English style pub run by a British expat. He is a bit of a character which makes it all the more fun. Chicken curry is good and beer is excellent. What more could you want? Prices for other options are very reasonable. Menu is limited...but St. Marcan is a small town and we wanted to just walk here while staying at a small b&b just down the hill (Au Bon Accuel). We had no regrets."

"We arrived just after they opened so had a number of tables to choose from. The woman/hostess/server tried to seat us in an empty restaurant near the kitchen. Not acceptable to us, so we ended up choosing our own. The menu was simple, mostly galettes...and crepes. We both selected galettes. He like his choice (smoked salmon) but mine was so-so (Trio Normand). The flavor was bland and generally lacked character. Wine was decent and well priced. In fact, the prices were very good. Service was adequate."
