What 150federicac doesn't like about Eea:
The place is a bit overrated. We had a dinner here with some friends and the food was ok but not as special and tasty as expected. I personally had a plate with raw fish (crudo di mare) and honestly I did not find it good/qualitative enough for the price paid. The service was ok, but overall the staff was not very friendly. Been many years ago with lasting good memories, we hoped for a similar experience. Without a booking usually there is a slim chance... But got there just past 7.30pm, and asked for a table... The only available one was inside, on the window overlooking ponza port and bay. So far so good.. Polpo, fiori di zucca, a local fish all'acqua pazza, lentils soup, and scarola later we felt more than satisfied, content by the attentive service, the excellence of each single dish and the lovely surroundings. If you are more than two booking is essential as they tend to do one sitting per table only. If you there, take you time!!
Without any doubt, my best food experience in Ponza. Great food, excellent view, very good service. Do not miss it if you can!
Top level in every sense of the terms highly professional staff, fantastic location and atmosphere but above all Ponza Island's best seafood tradition with a creativity of great talent: delicacy of flavor combinations, presented in top fashion mode. A true experience of fine dining. Well deserved reputation and spot on the Michelin Guide. An absolute must when visiting this gem of an island. Book ahead. Always full!
Mediocre. From when we walked in we just felt a negative vibe. We don’t understand why, but the waiter seemed to be a bit put off by us. We have had only amazing meals in Ponza, but the server attitude was not Grasta. We had the friend prawns as a app which I found to be tasty, but rather small. She had the tempura fish which was light and good for being friend. I had the squid ink fettuccine which was good but nothing special, with finely chopped squid/cuddle fish/octopus. She had dumplings which we were told were Gnocci, but really were ravioli. Unfortunately, they fell flat for taste. Again, unfortunately when you feel the waiter is not into it, it takes away which could have been an okay meal. Would recommend II Melograno and Chiaia di Luna, both with excellent meals and services. Reviews to come for them
Restaurant with excellent cuisine dishes prepared with elegance but above all quality to try , you will not be disappointed staff prepared and kind
