What RubyMay doesn't like about Compton Acres Cafe:
The cafe could do with more choices. No vegan sandwiches were available and only a couple of ‘cake’ options but not proper cake , things like shortbread. I bought a vegetable pie which is obviously bought in from the baker. The pie was lovely but small for £8 and not served with anything. "Simple, but such an effective idea. great mood. they use it as a main or simple as a desert place as we did. cheese, meat, bread and wine alcohol. unreal! choose the size of their plate, 6, 10 or more combinations of cheese and meat or go for a meal platter with cake and other tasty options. they offer 'flights' that allow them to three types of wein (the same type), whiskys, ports etc. to go with the food. huge selection of cheese, smoked and camembert as personal favorite, but so many to choose. friendly staff to help them get the food and drink their mouthwater for when they're in there."
