Marie and Tony at The Blue Boar were incredible in helping coordinate every aspect of my wedding, despite my numerous emails. The food they provided was outstanding, much to the delight of our guests. I am incredibly grateful and can't wait to return for more of their delicious fish and chips. It truly was amazing!
The food and service at this restaurant were excellent, highly recommend! My group of 8, including a dog, dined here one night during Easter break. The fish and chips were fantastic, with crispy outer layer and soft inner side. The sirloin steaks were cooked perfectly to our preference. The chicken was a tad dry, but the staff was receptive to our feedback. They even gave our dog a treat! We will definitely return if we are in the area again in the future.
After passing by this pub several times, we finally decided to give it a try when another local restaurant disappointed us. We were pleasantly surprised to discover a hidden gem. The staff greeted us warmly, were friendly and polite, and maintained excellent service throughout the evening. The food was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. We never felt rushed and greatly enjoyed our visit. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you for the wonderful evening.
The Merchant's Cellar is a fantastic spot for music lovers. The acoustics are excellent and there is a cozy bar area for a more intimate experience.
