"I’m not sure if we went on an off day or what but we arrived, granted we were a 5mins late they informed us our table was being laid up and said to sit in the bar upstairs and someone would come and get us. We ordered a cocktail and beer and then waited when we had waited 30mins my husband had to ask the bar lady about where our table was. We then had menus bought upto us it was very strange then someone came and got us but looked very stressed. We were given menus but no wine menu. Which we had to ask for they were not coping having a second sitting. There was a manager walking round talking to tables but she was only asking questions she wanted to hear the answer to and then walking off. Anyway we ordered a main and a bottle of wine/ we arrived at 8:15 and didn’t eat until 10pm. At one point the waitress poured us a glass of wine and said just get drunk. We then got the bill £150 for drinks and a main course. I think there are things that could have been done to make the experience better even with the mistakes. It was expensive for a below par service. Food was tasty"

"We visited around 2pm on a Thursday and got a seat for four of us. The service was friendly and relaxed and the menu had a good variety of breakfast and lunch options. We had a couple of toasties, a club and a happy little prints, all made to order. Ratios were perfect and included a fresh seasonal slaw, dressed in balsamic and sesame seeds. Drinks were freshly squeezed orange juice, chai latte and an apple juice. There are a lot of options on places to eat in Westbourne, but I'm glad we found this one and would highly recommend."

"We visited the courtyard for afternoon tea for a treat for my sister. Tea choices were excellent and the sandwiches cakes and scones delicious. The service was very good and would highly recommend this tea room. Great value for money."

"This place to lunch visited during a weekend (the assumption that it would be so visited during the evening opening hours during the lunch hours to do) absolutely loved! each part of the bento I ordered was delicious and my partner ended every lost drop of its nudes. very clean and airy, although they sniff, good eating at a great price and a lot of Asian drinks. we will visit again when we are in bournemouth!"

"Service was poor. No hello on arrival or goodbye. Not offered a menu. I had to tell my family what cake there was. Not doing food when we visited only cake at 1pm. We would have had a better time at the national trust café. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2"

"The cellar is a great place... the staff was friendly and courteous, recommended for our pregnant friends and wee for our alcoholic. only nniggle was, we had a table that was not under/at a fan so was very hot (also with door open) and would probably have done with a fork, but unlike that it was a great atmosphere. will be back soon!"
