One of my favourite places. Nice gardens with lots of meandering paths. Plenty of places for the kids to play. Good tea rooms. On site pottery painting. Toilets not so nice on my last visit. Perhaps an off day View all feedback.

"I have to temper this review by saying that I’ve eaten multiple dishes at this restaurant over two visits, several of which I enjoyed. However, my last main left a lasting, negative impression. The sole entree was dry and smelled strongly of AMMONIA! I, trying not to cause controversy, told the hostess and asked for a sauce to mask the unpleasantness of the dish. However, in retrospect, the staff really should have taken the dish away, given that ammonia indicates that the fish isn’t fresh. The experience was worsened by the fact that we were sitting outside the kitchen, and we could hear the chefs loudly defending their terrible food!"

"First of all, I would like to seriously show my hatred to the review of Monika about this place. What a disgusting way of showing that you simply had a bad experience on your time here simply because a hard working barista forgot your order, people forget but to call the person such a harsh word is vile. Now that 's out of the way, I would like to say that my coffee was actually really lovely and the carrot cake is really nice for the pricing of it. Overall, amazing coffee and it 's a place I 'd definitely order from again."

"Stumbled across this fabulous find on Sunday afternoon. Love this scrummy tea shop. I recommend the delicious homemade scones and the coffee is real good too. A delightful setting with great hosts. Definitely going back as there are sooo many cakes to try out."
