"I recently joined a group of friends at Pizzeria da Paolino in Vivaro. We were approximately people and we reserved the back dining area for our group. Vivaro is a small village, so you'll easily find Da Paolino's. Parking is on the street. The...locale was warmly decorated and offers casual dining with paper placemats and normal quality service ware (utensils, dishes, and glassware). Your fork, knife and napkin are in a pre-packaged paper wrapper. Pizzeria da Paolino offers a rather extensive pizza menu and I didn't see any other items on the menu other than pizza. There was a shortage of menus to distribute so of us had to share four menus. I had the Gustoso pizza euro) that had an assortment of prosciutto, spicy salami, wurstel, mushrooms, artichokes, tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese. Da Paolino was generous with the ingredients; however, I found the thin pizza crust to be flavorless and bland. My wife had the Estivo pizza that was comprised of an assortment of fresh summer vegetables (zucchini, eggplant, bell peppers). The backroom where were sitting had an air conditioner that didn't function properly and everyone from our group complained of the hot, sweaty temperature. We should have eaten on the covered, outdoor terrace; however, mosquitos are a problem. Service was attentive and efficient and our pizzas arrived quickly. Da Paolino has two pizza makers so this helped in getting pizzas on the table in a timely fashion. An assortment of homemade desserts were also available and my wife enjoyed Panna Cotta (a custard) with chocolate. Prices were very reasonable with our meal above, plus two medium size mugs of tap beer and a bottle water totaling euros. There was nothing special about Da Paolino's that would entice me to make a return visit to this pizzeria. Clientele we mostly locals from Vivaro and surrounding villages. Da Paolino opens at and closes at The pizzeria is closed on Mondays."
