"This place was incredible, myself and my mum wanted to celebrate her birthday somewhere local,and I'm so happy we went here. The food was yummy ,the atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable and the staff, can I just say it's been awhile we're I have found myself having a great laugh with staff seeing all staff smiling and loved that they had regulars who came in while we were there and all staff acknowledging them.So go and enjoy"

"We have been going to Pandan since they were in Tawa. As a family who love Malaysia and local food, this restaurant is better than local Malay, we feel so lucky they are only 20 main away from Johnsonville. "Maharajas is my favourite Curry place in Lower Hutt, the only time I will ever go anywhere else is on a Monday when they are closed and even then it usually isn't worth it because this place sets the bar so high. I order takeaway from there most week and the chicken is always tender and the sauce (med kiwi hot) always flavourful and consistent week to week which is a rare find for indian takeaway. The staff are always friendly and even better they deliver for a very reasonable fee !"
