"Only come up to alberni a few times a year this used to be my favorite place. I didn't know it has new owners was in a rush to get back to mainland. Portion size was a absolute joke. How can you call that a 2pc? Idk what doing differently but it did not taste the same as I remember. With pop and tip was about 30. Be going to the clam from now on to keep me full for getting back to tri cities"

"So bad service! my wife and I picked up pm tonight. after mins waitress they come to us then ordered. but not served until minutes later. so I asked, but I will say again and again soon. what a long wait time! but for minutes later not come! what a good service! never come again!"

"Blandish food. Average at best. A bit overpriced for the portions served. Full of locals because there is no other place to go without driving at least 40 kms outside of a taco stand food truck just around the next bend Slow service, only...one server, no smile or welcome, empty table by window we wanted were told was not ready, yet it became available for another couple immediately ?? Felt rushed to leave. Condiments removed while still dining. We were still finishing up and not slow eaters! This was a third visit. I honestly cannot recommend it at all won't be back. Oh and the flooring inside slants, but can be considered charming by some I suppose!"

"Worth the stop to get some donuts treat!Their sign labeled “the best donut on Vancouver island”. And it’s well-deserved absolutely!We got a half dozen- maple bacon, pineapple coconut, salty caramel, cinnamon sugar, maple walnut and almond almond- every flavour and every bites are delightful! Plus, the owner are extremely friendly and passionate! Highly recommended their donuts!"
