Our group of four enjoyed the seafood platters and the chowder. The platters were fresh and included some Newfoundland specialties we had hoped to taste.

"There is not much in hawke’s bay, but maynard’s pizza pasta restaurant is a good place to eat. we were part of a road scholar tour, and the restaurant offered a great selection of good pizzas. the ingredients were good, and there were plenty of cheese. on the pizzas. if they are on the way from st. anthony’s back to deer lake, this is a welcome lunch break."

"The decor is amazing, also eat! moose burger platter for me, seafood linguine for my sweet. I'm glad I finally got a burger. everywhere I tried, they were all from the elk. will definitely have again, can confirm that it is a lean meat quite delicious. not sure how flavored, next can taste differently. our server was very informatiw and explained how each restaurant must receive its own license to get its own moose during the autumn hunting season. she has a license for a moose. much luck with their favorite early success come september. sweetie reported that the seafood linguine was very good, the seafood all produced locally. the left even better. the restaurant is located above the road from another OCI plant (ocean choice international) a cold water-shrinkle processing plant. that is the fishermen community here in port au choix."
