We were travelling back to Qld pulled into Port Augusta for the night, arrived around 8.30pm on a Tuesday with most places shutting up shop, however this family...

"The gardens are a great place to visit. There are how the name suggest a variety of different arid land plants. Great parking and picnic areas with drinking water. The cafe was wonderful. Courteous staff, reasonable prices. Good coffee and they even cut my cake in half, so I could just share. A very nice gift shop, but a little expensive."
