"We got a takeaway last night and it was excellent. The batter on the haddock was tasty and crisp, while the haddock inside was perfect. By the time I got it back, the chips were a bit limp, but that was to be expected after a 20 minute drive. Highly recommended, and excellent value for money."

"Found this place while meandering around this neck of the woods on a glorious Saturday of the long weekend. I was looking for something sweet for later in the day, to compliment a delicious repast,The place was bustling with customers as I dutifully waited my turn in the lineup that moved quickly due to many attentive, young staff. As a confirmed butter tart aficionado, I ordered their plain and raisin versions, in addition to their brownie.While the brownie was dense and chocolaty, the tarts were a disappointment. The dough to filling ratio was out of whack, with too much thick dough. Both parts of the tart were lacking in taste, ooey gooeyness and flavor. While many have praised the tastiness of Don's product, on this day, I unfortunately did not get to see what all the hype is about. I may give Don's a second chance when next out that way, but for now, I will have to go to one of my tried and true places."

"This is a roadside woodfire pizza restaurant it does a lot of take out, but you can also sit outside in the Muskoka chairs while you devour a pizza. There are also a few picnic benches. The pizza was AMAZING! They make bread too, and it shows because the pizza dough was really delicious."

"Went for dinner as a party of 6 on a Saturday night. They don't take reservations but we were able to get a table inside without having to wait (they also had a really nice patio). They are right on the lake so the view from their patio is beautiful. The food and service was great. Only negative is the restaurant is kinda small so the seating is cramped."

"We have enjoyed eating at Lakeside since it opened. The food is very good. Haven’t had a bad meal yet. Date night was wonderful. The meals were very good. The entertainment was excellent. We had a great time. We can’t wait to do it again. It was a great idea"

"Let me explain why I'm not giving five out five; the server. While the server was overall good, she didn't come over to our table enough, we were waiting too long at times for our plates to be cleared and even to pay. Moving on, food was absolutely amazing. It was a buffet style, they had a kids section which I thought was really cute for little ones; the tables were there size and the food was something all children would love. Food for the adults however, two thumbs up. They had a salad bar as well as a few cold salads, moving onto the hot stuff, I tried everything. From the mixed veggies, to the mushroom ravioli, to the prime rib, all delicious. Following dinner I had to get dessert, it included mini desserts so I grabbed one of everything; from cheesecake, to chocolate mousse, I was not disappointed."

"I went through the drive through and my dog in the car barked over both me and the speaker so the worker asked me to come in instead. I did and they got my order wrong twice in a row and had to remake it twice. I still ate what they gave me and it was delicious.5 star Mcdonalds experience. lol ? ?"

"Homestyle was everything Nicks wasn’t. They greeted us and sat us in a timely manner at a table that was available. The service was good and very polite and personable, however they were very overwhelmed by the amount of people but it didn’t really affect the quality of service. Food came out hot and was delicious with generous portions. I will certainly be back to Homestyle in the future!Vegetarian options: Fruit, oatmeal, toast, home fries."
