My wife and I stopped at Port Hope OnRoute today on our way to Ottawa. The dining area was very dirty, tables are not cleaned, floor strewn with food scraps. the bathroom (men) was equally dirty. The washbasins are covered with some kind of muddy dirt. Floor wet and un-mopped. Overall extremely deplorable conditions. View all feedback.

It is pretty good for a truck stop. Not as big as the other ones. I had Burger King but I will try Popeyes next time .

"Good fried food and bbq meats. Also serves scooped ice cream. We first tried it on a Thursday night around 6pm which was during the dinner rush and wait time after you order was 30-45 mins. They do give you a wireless device that vibrates to notify you when your order is ready which is handy while waiting in your car. The food was good so we returned a few weeks later during the day when it wasn't as busy and had great service. The potato wedges are something special, highly recommend trying them."
