Lodged at Macquarie Barracks Motel after a four hour drive decided to eat at the in house restaurant, Governors. We were very happy with the quality and flavour of the meal. I had half a dozen oysters (first class local au naturale) followed by Hasselback Chicken, which was excellent. My wife had the Lamb Cutlets (2) followed by Sticky Date Pudding also most enjoyable. Great service and great food in a cosy atmosphere. Great for solo travellers who want a bite to eat without going into the centre of town.
