"We had the seafood platter for the fourth time because it’s normally our favourite. The first platter was 5 out of 5 but the second platter was maybe 2out of five. The crumbed sardines were burnt. The prawns had a bleach taste and we left with that feeling of eating a fried fisherman basket at the pub. Oil yuck feeling. Very disappointed and even when we told two staff members no one seemed to care.that was our last seafood platter at whalebone wharf ever."

"This quaint bar has quite a following, and for good reason. Nice ambience , attractive decor with high and low tables. Cocktails and wine list is extensive, with gorgeous wine glasses to enjoy.The service was young and friendly with drink orders taken quickly. we ordered pizzas to share which took quite a while, maybe 30 40 mins but were quite delish ! The music is a little loud but it seems a young persons place and it was a Saturday night!Very enjoyable!"

"They have 2 vegetarian and 1 vegan pizza (no vegan cheese, or at least they didn't offer us). We got the vegan one and one vegetarian (made vegan). The base is incredibly the same as Domino's, so not especially good (it took us hours to digest it). Indeed the toppings are generously spreaded on to the pizza but still the general quality is poor. And it's bloody expensive!! 20$ per pizza (12 which is not extremely big).. next time I'll rather go to Domino's."
