Staff members closed the museum 40 min before its posted closing time and kicked me out, so I didn’t finish reading the boards.I understand many places and short staffed and are heavily relied on volunteers. The Bayshore Center at Bivalve is the perfect place to spend a day. I learned so many new and interesting things from visiting the center, meeting new people, and enjoying a sail on the AJ Meerwald tall ship schooner, which was built on the Maurice River and used for oystering on the Bay back in the day.
