Ruby Slipper has done a good job of keeping the local flavor going. For a few a days, my wife and I been passing through bethel trying to get in. I know there's a bar attached but we went for the grub. I like being able to tell my friends and fellow foodies where's the good goodies in town. When my family visits, we do the local dance first! I so wanted to like this place. I 'm new to PO and really wanted a go-to local spot for burgers, fries and basic diner fare. Unfortunately this isn 't the one for me. We ordered a cheeseburger, fries, onion rings, buffalo wings and 'black and blue(berry) ' pie for dessert. Burger was okay, but the fries and onion wings were limp and soggy. No crunch at all.
