"Got I see so many high reviews for this pub can it be true? the quality of the service was better than I 've experience in many big city high-end restaurants. the personal really cares about the door gruß and covid screening on the fantastic server we had. well rounded menu and no disappointment! yes, it was the height of the "off season", so we didn't expect much. this is a small town that had no idea how good the server and kitchen staff would be. from the leib! it was so good that we came back the next night and were as impressed. and we're back."

"I had the most fantasic experience here for a quick lunch. Excellent service, gorgeous view and literally the most beautifully presented veggie burger I’ve ever seen! (It was super tasty too). I hope they get a glass washing machine someday because the ONLY negative was plastic cups—I think it was biodegradable plastic but still. Otherwise, 11/10 highly recommend! Service: Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"When one walks into a pub, particularly out in the wilds of Vancouver Island, one can be excused for expecting run of the mill burgers and fries. We had that expectation and were very pleasantly surprised. Sure the ambiance is a little rustic and the clientelea mixture of tourists, hikers and bikers. But the food and the beer are very good indeed.We had salmon burgers and soup. The salmon was fresh (not a total surprise) and wellprepared (much more of a surprise). The soup was terrific. The Port Renfrew Pub is definitely worth a visit."

"Very pleasant environment. Good food and drink, friendly staff. Food took a long time to get out, but to be fair, the kitchen was down two chefs."
