The School House makes all of it's food fresh on site (except the onion rings). The fried food was served hot and had good flavour and crunch. The coleslaw is creamy and a little bit sweet. At first it appears quite expensive but the portions are so large you can easily split a 2 fish order between two adults. There is plenty of room to eat in. "Party of 6 including 2 kids and we really enjoyed the food and service. 5 of us had wings and one had a burrito with a Caesar salad. We also shared an order of onion rings. The wings were really good and meaty, fries and rings were quite good as well. The Chorizo burrito and Caesar were very good- very fresh and the dressing was homemade. Our server was fantastic. Friendly and funny and very nice to the kids. We will definitely return! Glad we found this place. We didn't realize there is parking in behind as the building is hidden down a lane off King Street. We found spots on the street but it's good to know for next time if we go at a busier time. Truly a hidden gem!"

"This place has the best pizza I have ever had, and I've had lots!. The service staff are amazing and friendly and whatever you eat is delicious. We were there Tuesday for lunch and had the chipotle ribs, the brie dip and margarita pizza, plus...the Ceasars salad and strawberry salad. They were all amazing. We have been there several times and it never disappoints. The owner is an awesome guy as well and I would highly recommend this if you are in Midland."

"$12.99 Medium 4 toppings walk-in special is definitely worth the money and for two bucks more you can make it a large. Always fast and you can get delivery outside the online zone by calling the store directly. Super friendly staff and great deals both online and in the store."

"I had a full order of halibut and chips! it came with three fish pieces. the halibut was fresh and coated with a slightly crispy teig. it is really the star of the meal, therefore I give it five stars. Now, to be fair, I did not really consider the riders as they were a little soggy as we ordered to take (appeared to commercial frits, not fresh cut) and the koleslaw was a little on the Bland side (probably needed a bit more sugar and salt for the spicy and zittery). total a great value for what they pay for portions. I will definitely order again!"
