restaurant, x is a real jewel in the heart of port washington. buck, the owner, could not be hospitable to his guests anymore. whatever we wanted, he was quick to try to accommodate. the menu is limited, but what was presented was all delicious. the restaurant is small, but this supplements its charm. large service is lively and good in port washington. this restaurant accepts reservations, but is closed. there were a few people there to eat and the doors were locked / restaurant unfortunately does not seem to be in business. View all feedback.
Very friendly service and food was delicious. It is not a big place but cozy which good for 1-4 parties.
The food here is fresh and expertly prepared and served by knowledgeable staff in a chic atmosphere.

Went here for dinner and had the tasting menu. Each dish was fantastic and so delicious! Every course had a unique flavor but tied in superbly with the other courses. One of the owners was waiting on us and was willing to take time to explain each dish and made you feel like you were the most important customer. He did this with all the tables which goes to show how much thought and passion the owners have. I highly recommend this place.
The food was good- portions small (which you would expect), service friendly not exceptional,There were 5 of us and we all wanted to try it after hearing all the hype about it but in all five of our opinions it was pretentious and really nothing great. I would return if somebody really wanted to go but I would not choose it on my ownSorry of disappointed
