Very good food and friendly helpful service. Their food is delicious and tasty with actually chunks of meat unlike others. You won't regret eating here.

One of the best places to eat in Portage. No buffet, but everything on the menu is great. Get the Golden Chicken!

"Was in town for the day and was craving Mexican food. I seen Chronic Tacos and was going to go all in and try it since I have never had before. However I spoke with one of the locals and he said that if I wanted authentic Mexican and not a food chain to try Mole Guacamole. He said it's a hole in the wall but the family came from Mexico and the Grandma is making the food. Once I heard that I was sold.I've tried many places for Mexican food and this hands down has to be the best I have ever had. The location isn't the greatest but your going for the food. Once I took my first bite I was very impressed with how much flavor there was. It's a drive from the City but worth the drive. I'm going to come back again in the summer and take my family because it's that good. Highly recommended 5/5"

"How chicken chef has not expanded across Canada boggles my mind. I have never met anyone that has tried it that doesn't think it's the best fried chicken restaurant. I hope one day I can open one in Alberta lol more people need to experience the devine chicken this chain has to offer.Food: 5/5"

"First time! It was wonderful. Greeted at the door by a pleasant young man who explained the complementary drink for Father on Father's Day and that the homemade Yogurt was made in house in the Mango drink. We tried it and it was so delicious and refreshing. He explained all the dishes to us, what was in each and how spicey, or not. Very patient and welcoming. We tried a bit of many things and it was all delicious. Very clean, very welcoming. Really too full for dessert but tried the rice pudding and one of the very sweet treats. Will definitely be back."
