"At 57 years old and being raised and living in Texas my whole life, I HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH GREAT BBQ, had the Brisket and Turkey, NO SAUCE REQUIRED! Tender and the flavor was amazing and not “smoky” The beans and Cajun potato salad are just as good! Will be back in weekly basis! Parking: Very busy but found a spot right wway Kid-friendliness: My 2 kiddos plus there friends had there own table! Amazazing enviromsnt Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps and easy in and out"

"Nice little place where the service is phenomenal. There are cool items on the walls to check, and it is super clean that is rare for a place that is so decorated. I had a burger and the steak fingers both with pommes, I wasn't disappointed! Apparently, I'm back after my first time and I will definitely come back."

"Maira Domangue posted a zero star review for the free Easter Egg Hunt hosted at Back Pew on Saturday. She admitted she was late to the event strike one; she said there were 100 eggs with 20 million people strike two; she said the eggs weren 't even hidden strike three!Exaggerated negative reviews are a pet peeve of mine and because I was at the event with my family, I have to respond to her blatant exaggerations. Upon arrival at the brewery well before 2:00pm, there were a lot families staking their place waiting for the event to begin. The ground was COVERED with eggs!! (Way more than 100). Any logical adult would understand there is no way to hide as many eggs as there were available for the children. There were a lot of kids (not 20 million) and if I had to guess, I would say around 200 250. Anyone who has children, knows that waiting is not something they are good at and Back Pew stayed with the posted time of the event and started promptly at 2:00pm. This is NOT an exaggeration because we timed it it took right at a minute for the kids to scoop up all the eggs!! Standing back watching, all kids we saw had eggs in their basket with nothing but smiles.So Maira, stop blaming the business for what is obviously your poor planning."

"I grew up in the church. I am a PK… Baby I stopped by Granny Dee’s after work today because I did not feel like cooking. I was a little hesitant because of the reviews. I said to my husband let’s try it anyway. We got the fish special and a slice of old fashion pound cake! All I can say is God was glorified!!! If I had ten thousand tongues I could not thank Granny Dee enough!!! The food was hot, fresh, and very good. Whew chile my feet almost got happy! I can’t speak on the previous bad reviews however it was well with my soul…. If you can trust God you can trust Granny Dee! God bless you granny! May everything you touch prosper..I know I am having fun in this review but I am oh so serious. I know good food when I taste it I come from a line of cooks. Its a straight up 5 out 5 for me!!!??????"

"After living here for over 20 years I’ve explored the HKA area. This local bar has always been something I have enjoyed visiting. From the wait staff, to my family and friends that frequent the tournaments/steak nights/trivia/karaoke you can’t go wrong here. Great drink specials, the food better than the rest of the fast food joints. A lot of friendly locals and good family times will be had here I’ll continue to come here for many more years to come."
