My family and I went to the blue reef one night as the owners children were good friends of mine. On arrival we received a very warm welcome it felt like a very homely restaurant like you would find in the uk or Ireland. I ordered a steak and it was cooked to perfection. My family and I had a lovely meal in a lovely atmosphere all you could want and ask for in a restaurant. We will definitely be returning next year read more.

Lovely central location, modern decor, inside and outside dining area. Owners/staff pleasant and friendly but a bit to over the top. Food disappointing. No where near as nice as Georget's or elsewhere in Alvor. read more.
