They had a power outage last night so they had a pretty limited menu this morning. We weren’t able to get our favorites, but the sesame bagel with veggie schmear hit the spot. We picked up some veggie shmear to go. View all feedback.
What burnsria doesn't like about Ben Esther's Vegan Jewish Deli:
The bagels were very good, but the cream cheese was bland and had a weird aftertaste. I had such high expectations as I've heard of this place for years, but the food was overpriced for its quality. View all feedback.
We visited Ben Esther's Vegan Jewish Deli twice over the weekend were pleased with the food, service, prices given the portions. We tried the New Yorker sandwich, the Egg, Cheese Bacon filling on an onion bagel, a knish, potato salad, egg salad. My girlfriend I both agreed that our favorite item was the onion bagel sandwich; however, she also quite liked the potato salad. I preferred the egg salad. We both thought the New Yorker was just okay. We'd definitely like to try more of their deli case items bagel sandwiches. We look forward to visiting again. Updated from previous review on 2024-06-04
Abslutely incredible egg, cheese and bacon bagel sandwiches. the sammy siegler was to die for as well. can’t wait to go back next time I’m in town.
A massive selection of different sandwiches and spreads incredibly delicious
Philly cheesesteak was scrumptious. Nice and piping hot when it came out. All the tastes were evenly balanced. We got mac salad also. It taste like it has a butter base, but maybe that is the way that Jewish deli’s do it. Could get five stars if they asked us whether it was for here, or to go, therefore reducing the amount of paper that they used to wrap our food in.
The idea is great. The actual food is just okay. The lox was underwhelming, the matzo ball soup was okay but the balls were too dense. Service with no smile.
