What Ioana Marin likes about Bete Lukas Ethiopian Rstrnt:
This place can be easy to miss, on top of a tattoo shop, but try not to! The food is fresh and tasty (even the salad was crisp and well seasoned, and y’all know that’s often a filler and afterthought). The service is friendly and worth the occasional wait. read moreLocated above a tattoo shop, this Ethiopian restaurant may be easy to miss but is definitely worth seeking out. The food is fresh and flavorful, with even the salad standing out. The service is friendly, despite occasional waits. The ingredients are locally sourced, making the dishes extremely fresh and delicious. The cozy dining area adds to the experience, and the honey wine is a must-try. Reviews are mixed on the overall dining experience, with some praising the full cash bar and funny bartender, while others were disappointed in the food quality and service. However, most agree that the combination of fresh ingredients, friendly service, and comfortable atmosphere make it a place worth visiting.
