Papa Haydn - Portland

The menu has recently changed by our waiter. We ordered Butternut Squash Ravioli and Rotisserie Chicken and they were both delicious. I loved the complete dessert menu as Dessert/Pasteries is their speciality. The outside seats were beautiful. This restaurant is on the pricier side, but it is worth it.

There we were for our anniversary dinner. For years you have been enjoying the cakes of Papa Hayden, but this is the first time that we decide to try out their dinner menu. Here are my thoughts: 1. Drink menu is decent. Cocktails selection are quite good, good number of beer on tap, wine listing is average. 2. Food has a good coverage of the global cruise from French, Italian, Japanese to America. On the plus page, you can get quite a lot of what you are looking for, but on the bottom, you can not get the most authentic food from this region. 3. Dessert Simply the best dessert in the city. Put your hands down. We ordered tuna, French onion soup and Croque Monsieur. The cheese in the French onion soup was not melted, which was disappointing. The rest was pretty good. Service was good. Our waiter was very hesitant and friendly. A total of 4 stars. And the price was reasonable.

The best place in town for cakes and tea! Your cake variety is huge and the aromas of these cakes will make you tagdream about this place 24/7! Your delicious food is also great! The staff is welcoming and accommodating. A tiny minor, as her restaurant together with another former restaurant makes the seats a little confusing. But the staff is always helpful to change tables if you don't want where you are sitting.

The food and the deserts are very similar to the ambience. always delicious with great service. The only page in this place is pricing. I recommend the passion, triple chocolate cake and tangent Vanilla Bean Cheesecake (all pictured).

Out here for some desserts and I bet you can never go wrong with this place. Right from the latte to the desserts that we ordered , they were excellent. The service was excellent, the choices were great and definitely coming back for more
