Fun little neighborhood location, pretty good burger made fresh. Lots of beers and stuff to choose from and nice seating to watch the people walking by outside. If I lived over here I'd probably be here every week, looks like they do comedy on Fridays. That would be fun. View all feedback.
What Guadalupe Daniel doesn't like about Ross Island Grocery Cafe:
Jennifer (I think that’s her name) is the epitome of a Karen. I’m told she owns this business. I encountered her in a public space treating another human being horribly. Yelling, rude, etc. What kind of business owner does that? Would she like it if someone treated her that way? I will never go here and will tell everyone I know to stay away. View all feedback.
Located in a residential area between ohsu and the river willamette, they can miss it, so turn to their goggle maps. order them at the counter and they bring them to eat them, but make sure to tell them everything they want on their meal; there is no spice or spice on the tables. I had a simple cheeseburger with fabulous fries and it was excellent especially the fries. breakfast is served until 11 o'clock. I would suggest that the owners add a spicy station so that they can complicate their fine food with exactly the right amount of spicy.
The owner of this place needs a lesson in manners! I had the misfortune of shopping in the same place today as her, we both were in picking up supplies for our various businesses and the utter rudeness and lack of decency in how she treated the staff was appalling and made me wonder how she treats her own staff. My shadow will not darken her doorstep and may she have business she deserves going forward.
Really just an awful experience over all. The place is filthy, the owner treats her staff horribly in front of customers, coffee is burnt and the food is just awful. The first time I was hoping everyone was just having a bad day, but its been like that all several of the times I tried the place. The last time i went i saw the owner being extremely discriminatory to a marginalized person. Just gross.0/10 do not recommend. Do not support this business.
Lovely for breakfast! We went all 3 days we were in town and got free banana bread from the boss (and all the pastries were very good)
The times are hard and the hours are long in the ross island grocery. if they are on a timetable or self-worthy, it is my strong recommendation to avoid rig. this is not a dig and go spot - it is where they are for overpriced, running-of-the-billion-tarife, because the neighboring is empty and they have 45 minutes to waste. avocado as a sandwich ingredient offers 1/4 of a hass (four translucent discs,) and the personal confirmed that this is intended. please, sir, I want more.
