"Ordered here before and it wasn’t great. We decided to give this place another chance and see if it improved. Got pilau rice, lamb korma, vegetable korma and garlic bread. Popadoms were free with 3 dips and they were lovely. Rice was also nice. But then the garlic bread, tasteless and burnt underneath and hence gave the bitter taste. Now we get to the Korma, it was absolutely disgusting and looked like puke. I always get korma in Indian restaurants and it’s usually a nice colour and has flavour and taste of coconut too. This korma was dark drown in colour and looked so unappetising and tasteless. It went straight to the bin and I will never be ordering from this place again. Gave it a few chances as I wouldn’t like to judge a restaurant on one bad order but this place was consistently bad."

"Central location with really cool modern clean decor. Staff are really friendly and efficient. I think the food arrived less than 5 mins after ordering. Everything was so tasty and very fresh. I would highly recommend eating in Lana's. They even give you free fresh ice cream after you eat!"

"Very handy pit stop on a road trip. As had my dog with me, we couldn't dine in main bar/restaurant but they opened up the snug for us no bother, and was perfect space for us, especially as the main space was very busy on a Saturday lunchtime (great to see! . Staff were so friendly, chatting away and ensuring I didn't feel completely isolated alone in there! Ordered the buttermilk pancakes, which were tasty."

"The service was very good. It was my birthday but we ran late by over an hour vis-a-vis our booking and they still accommodated us. The food was quite good, and there was a decent selection. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the service was quite quick. I was quite happy with the service and would recommend the establishment to anyone looking for a nice meal in Abbeyleix. Congrats on running such a good restaurant."
