Staff were very helpful and talked us through the menu. Great meat/cheese platter and tried the Francesinhas (bit like a toasted club sandwich covered in a tomato/beer sauce! Very good wine recommended by the waiter...as he said 'there is no bad wine in Portugal ' : Ask them about the history of the building....there used to be a prison below ground. What User doesn't like about Cafetaria Dona Antonia:
The staff are not openly friendly which is surprising for Portugal. They probably deal with mostly tourists and do not make you feel welcome or cared for. They were out of several things that we wanted to order. Finally settled on some calamari that I saw him poor out of a freezer bag into a fryer served with french fries, and a cheeseboard and some olives. Prices were fair-high for the location. Great place to start your morning. Have a coffee and sandwich before visiting the church of San Francisco and the palace next door
Low quality food and really expensive. The worse place I have seen in a long time. This place can only be called as a scam.
Génial, très bon, super rapport qualité prix. Très propre.Parfait pour une pause. Personnel très sympathique à l'écoute des clients.
