First morning in Porto and came upon the Caravela for breakfast Omlette, rice and rose wine. We had a hard time finding anything open on a Wednesday morning and absolutely nothing open near our apartment. This is a nice little cafe with the most friendly staff and reasonable prices. "We were blind pages when we arrived, and we are told that we did not choose the blind emotion menu, which is what we booked a month in advance. Apparently, the Fork site does not allow any specification of the experience they are looking for. at the arrival we sat in the gastrobar. at this time only a few more were served. we asked if they would allow us to still have the emotion menu, but they said that would not be possible because they needed 24h note. they then told us that this happened many times and they complained at fork, but nothing could be done. how would it be to change the restaurant description only to include the problem and recommend that the patrons call to specify what they are looking for. the menu was not inspired, but I have to admit that eating was delicious. also the drinks lacked an aspekt of cocktails. only the bases were present and even they were either saccharine sweet or tasteless. the experience was not special, the atmosphere was sedate and forgotten. it seems that the property is blind to what today's restaurant goers are looking for in a culinary experience."

"Absolutely INCREDIBLE wine experience!! This is much more than your average wine tasting it's an in depth learning and sensory experience that wine enthusiasts of any level will definitely enjoy. Rafa is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, hilarious, and is happy to answer any questions you have. This was without a doubt the coolest wine tasting we've done anywhere, and an absolute must while in Porto! We cannot wait to take the skills we learned and apply it to wine at home."
