among many restaurants in the center with a typical “touristic” cut we found this delicious little place, where we had perfect dishes (two starters a first second), delicious and satisfying. courteous and attentive staff. balanced prices, because if you want to eat good fish, cooked well, you pay and here we spent the right. strongly recommended! What User doesn't like about Enoteca Gustavino:
discreet dishes, zero service. we found the constant negative comments among the waiters, especially towards a poor girl who only needed to learn the language better, not to be constantly denigrated in front of customers. we felt too much, almost ignored, and it's not a feeling we would like to try at the restaurant. Great and friendly service! we came for dessert and it was SO GOOD that we decided to go back for dinner! best meat ever! grilled veggies simple but tasteful. highly recommended.
This experience started of great, with a very tasteful antipasti, but was a little let down with a mediocre main course. Also worth to mention here: bring cash! The owner seem to chose which customers he allows to pay with credit card, and you might not be the lucky one...
I walked in a little after eight, and, after being ignored by the waitress, was approached by a man that I assume was the owner. I was greeted with the standard Italian greeting, Prego? I said Good Evening, do you have a table for dinner? All of this was in Italian, and I counted eight empty tables, some inside, and some outside. His response was, No. Then he turned and walked away without another word. I don 't run into too many rude restaurateurs in Italy, but this guy is the worst. I don 't now if he treats everyone this way, or just foreigners, but this is a resort town, and one would think he might work on his manners. Needless to say, I would never venture into this restaurant.
Mega delicious meat from the academy della carne from the maestro personally. the best I've eaten for a long time. red wine from elba cold but very good! priced world class. cook and service are super nice
