We had a sample given to us through the store window on the street and we went inside to have a pasta cup! They said the pesto would only keep for 5 days without refrigeration. Unfortunately, we were not going to be able to refrigerate it for 12 more days, so we didn't get to buy any to take with us. This was truly the best pesto we have ever eaten! We were offered the pesto on pieces of bread and it was delicious so we came back later to purchase. We used it for a meal later that day. What a disappointment! The lady had been very clear that the jar we purchased had little olive oil in it but that was just about the only ingredient.
