"Absolutely the BEST Indian food in the NH Seacoast and Southern Maine areas. The Singh family is dedicated to their loyal customers above and beyond just a restaurant experience. Their customers are family; they truly care about each and every person they serve. I have learned so much about Northern Indian cuisine from my wonderful friends at Shalimar. Every entree, side dish, ingredient, and all the amazing spices are explained so that you are eager to try new culinary treasures, and develop your very own favorites. Plan on spending time when you dine at Shalimar; it is a wonderfully relaxing experience with delicious lunch and dinner choices. Shalimar also has amazing desserts! "One of our go to’s and favorite places in New Hampshire. The beer is really great if that’s your thing (not mine , cocktails are great, great wine list, and mocktails! The food has always been good, though one of my favorites is the mussel dishes they’ve had! The staff is always friendly and makes for such a wonderful dinner out, or a late Sunday lunch, our favorite time to sit at the bar for a casual date out. Price per person: $20–30"

"The Goldenrod has been around for over years! As long as I can remember they have served the same type of food...classic casual fare. Whats not to love about a great club sandwich with crispy salty chips?. I always complement my meal with a fresh limerickey...so refreshing! For dessert you must try the penuche fudge sauce with your ice cream! You will thank me later ???? Whileyou're there, it's a must to stop at the candy counter and get their homemade salt water taffy. You can actually watch theprocess of how they're made through the windows from the sidewalk. It's lots of fun for the family or even kids at heart ??"
