Their customers are family; they truly care about each and every person they serve. I have learned so much about Northern Indian cuisine from my wonderful friends at Shalimar. Every entree, side dish, ingredient, and all the amazing spices are explained so that you are eager to try new culinary treasures, and develop your very own favorites. "We decided to eat here while visiting towns my distant ancestors lived in. Part of Old Salt Lamies was built in 1740 and I could almost imagine the sound of the lively banter in the restaurant was similar to when my peeps might have eaten here. The bonus? The food was DELICIOUS! My husband ordered the Seafood Nachos (the best nachos of any kind I've had in the 40 years I've been snitching them) and I had the beef tips which were perfectly prepared and seasoned. Service was friendly, prices were reasonable for the quality and setting. Enjoyed it so much we went back for the Sunday brunch which was huge and featured an entire table of Gluten Free desserts !!!! Make reservations this place is large and POPULAR !!!!"
