"Awesome good food, navy/leakfully laid out wonderful staff and cozy music in the speakers. Each table had its own iPhone charger never seen before? what we didn’t know before the visit was that the staff also drove us home to the hotel for free. we’ve booked bistro sorrento tomorrow as well and are picked up at the hotel by restaurant staff, fantastic experience, food a “must” when visiting sorrento."

"This is a genuine diamond in the rough! If you want to spend between €14 €25 per course you must try out Kalma. But if you intend to bring some one else or several others, DON'T tell them about the location! Discovering the place is just as much as an experience.. It truly is a magical place. The ambiance is perfect. The staff are just attentive enough that you don't feel overshadowed or abandoned. Their product knowledge is excellent and each item is perfectly explained. And English is spoken. The food is a traditional (local) calabria fusion as well as a mouth watering sushi selection (and I'm not a fan of seafood)."

"This was our first visit to Mediterraneo and we'll definitely be back. The food was wonderful and the service great as well. We sat on the patio and enjoyed people-watching while we tried the fiori di zucchina (perfectly tempura fried and with a smoky ricotta...filling), an amazing amorini pasta with lemon sauce and local fish, and then the frittura mista with calamari, anchovies, shrimp, and another delicious local fish. In contrast to our dinner up the street the night before, it was a relaxed meal and we never felt rushed. All in all, a great experience."

"Everything we had was delicious! Great service. Table outside, nice view of Positano at night. Started with mussels and eggplant parmigiana, both were delicious. Rigatoni Genovese was good, the pasta alla nerano was amazing! One of the best dishes I had in Positano. Finished with the lemon cake dessert, also delicious. Highly recommend, make a reservation."

"Long time reader 1st time reviewer. Having read previous trip advisor comments we were very excited for this meal. However unfortunately a few things let the experience down. We had our hotel book a day in advance (usually very reliable) for 1900 since we’d recently eaten at a neighbouring restaurant and loved the area. However after waiting for the van for 30 min and talking to our hotel we realised there was no booking for whatever reason. We were luckily able to rebook for 2015. On arrival we had what was clearly the last table for 2 with no view (understandable since now a last minute table) but under a fan through which bugs kept falling on our table, into our wine glasses and no mention of the lost booking. The food was very nice, prices not too bad and service also very good. However given that we’d eaten at a neighbouring restaurant which gave complimentary prosecco on arrival, excellent food and service as well as limoncello, which we missed here and even granita whilst waiting for the ride back down the experience was just not good enough in comparison to its neighbour."

"I had the most incredible experience at this place. first, the location of the hotel and the lounge is unbeatable and what makes this place unique is the entire staff and the management. the staff was very attentive, professional, friendly and very friendly. raffaele general manager) spoke to everyone and greeted them personally. antonio, claudio, bartender and other co-workers, which I unfortunately forgot their names, were extremely excellent and let us welcome. Live music added an additional unique touch to this place. I recommend this place to everyone. if they are in positano, please visit this location to experience the beauty and the Italian hospitality. well done, palazzo murat staff!"
