View all feedback.
What Edda Geisler doesn't like about Balzac Coffee:
Maybe we were unlucky while visiting this at Potsdamer Platz, but all tables were full of dishes and were not cleaned after 10 minutes. When the guy took the dishes he cleaned the table by using his hand only....JEG!The coffee was moderate/ok and not very expensive, I must say. The entourage and hygiene were not optimal...to put it midly. I went to the toilet and it was the same kind of hygiene. View all feedback.
We stopped off for take-out coffee here when passing through the station. Iced coffees were good and the pretzel with cream cheese and chives tasted fresh and very nice. Service was quick to and staff were friendly and spoke English with us.
The place's atmosphere was great and the location is also excellent (inside the train station). I had a few minutes to catch the train and the service was quick and the staff was kind even if they don't speak English. Coffee was really good and...the vegan sandwich was great.
A large choice of coffee, mocha, latte and many different kind of cakes. Very nice place to get warmer in winter or to wait for your train.
I come to the espresso house or times a week on my way to work and always enjoy my coffee and time there. There is one member of staff who is rude and very aggressive. Not only with me as he has been...on occasions now but with other customers also. Totally disrespectful and angry, this is not hospitality! He needs to learn how to speak to people and put his emotions aside when dealing with customers. He is definitely in the wrong profession, a childish and rude boy. He has black hair, short ish and walks around like he owns the place. Please do soemthing about this member of staff before he ruins your reputation further.
We had visited several branches of the Balzac chain in Berlin centre, so that when we reached Potsdam main station with time to spare before the return train, this branch within the station complex was the obvious place to wait. The premises is bright and...cheerful with comfortable seating and the service was good. All the usual products are stocked and it provided a good ending to our day in the town.
