What Anabelle Ryan doesn't like about Bonsai Japanese:
The dining atmosphere was nice and the service was great. Staff was polite and the food came to the table pretty quickly. However the food was just okay. The proportion of fish to rice in the sushi roll was not balanced. It was more like a rice roll. The salmon was overcooked and a dry. Had it not been smothered in teriyaki sauce I would not have been able to eat it. View all feedback.
If heaven were a sushi spot on earth it would be Bonsai 2. I have been coming here for years and I swear it just keeps getting better. From the delicious, fresh, incredible rolls, to the salads and app, Bonsai never disappoints. I’m seriously addicted to this place and would recommend it for takeout, date night, lunch, brunch or all of the above! If you love good sushi, you will fall head over heels for Bonsai.
Finally stepped into Bonsai II for lunch after writing my review of the original Bonsai location. Man was I surprised at this upscale elegant and softly lit setting. Much more seating than the original Bonsai and same outstanding food for the price. Generous portions. We always end up taking home left overs with the 3 roll lunch special. Around 11:45am, we were the first customers welcomed in that day. A calm quiet atmosphere, perfect first-date venue and its wheelchair accessible. Highly recommend!
Best Japanese restaurant I have ever tried in this area. The servers are super nice and the sushis are mad delicious!

Finally, Bonsai II went for lunch after my review of the original Bonsai location. Man I was surprised by this elegant and softly illuminated environment. Much more seating than the original Bonsai and the same excellent food for the price. Great portions. We always take home left overs with the 3 reels lunch special. At 11:45 we were welcome to the first customers this day. A quiet, quiet atmosphere, a perfect modern venue and a wheelchair accessible. Very recommended!
