I had a positive first experience at this restaurant. I placed my order through DoorDash for chicken vindaloo with garlic naan. Although I requested a mild spice level, it was a bit spicy, which I didn't mind. The chicken was flavorful and tender, and the naan was delicious as well. Both portions were generous in size. My order was ready for pickup when I arrived. I will definitely be ordering from here again. View all feedback.

I ordered the chicken biryani from Doordash while I was working, hoping to make some decent gains. However, when I opened the container, there was only a small piece of chicken and the rest was just rice. The lack of protein was disappointing and made me feel like my money was wasted. $22 for mostly rice? That's ridiculous. I won't be ordering from this place again. Taste of india? what a sweat. nothing indian about eating, except the names on the menu. go to red hook curry house and skip this overpriced müll. underscored, bland food and weak sauces. there are other places to buy Indian food. it is worth eating for good. two stars just because the order was accurate, and we didn't get food poisoning. otherwise a hard fit.
We tried this place for the 3rd time tonight… and it was a strike out. It seems the food got worse each time. The mango lassi was watered down and bland. The mango chutney wasn’t awful, but tasted mostly like vinegar. The garlic naan was beyond disappointing. First, it didn’t taste anything like garlic. It was dry, somewhat burnt and flavorless. The paneer was dry and also slightly burned. The masala had zero flavor or spice. The mushroom saag was awful. Nothing close to any other saag I’ve had. Not only was this food bad, but my partner and I are both experiencing stomach issues directly after eating it… Very disappointed in the entire order. My advice, get a NEW chef or switch food genres. Places like Citrus, Tamarind and Tanjore, are far better and worth the money.
Delicious food and service. The lamb samosa is delicious!!! Prices are reasonable, you can catch the lunch special for a great price !!!
I hate giving bad reviews but my experience wasn’t great. First google has the wrong number for the place and wrong location. I went to pick up my online order and didn’t check the bag as I left to get home and see I was missing the 2 pieces of naan I had ordered. The food itself was nothing to write home about either it wasn’t very flavorful and the chicken was dry. The only good thing was the spice level. Hope this was just an off day but by the looks of the other reviews it may not be..
Everything was dirty! The chairs had old food on them, the cups has old food stuck to them, and the ICE was the WORST! The ice had so much large chunks of dirt and... maybe food inside it. And to top it off the person who was helping us was very rude. We left before placing an order. DISGUSTING SHAME ON YOU.
