What Kari Gerlach doesn't like about River Station Restaurant:
I won't go into much but Jessica is running this business into the ground. My dinner the other night was sub par as my steak was not cooked to order. I ordered mid rare. It came out medium to mid well. No biggie , just cook me another steak. Jessica said the steak was cooked properly and would not compensate. How in God's name do they stay in business? The view isn't all that. Just a tourist trap I suppose. read more.

"I've never deceived such an unprofessional restaurant in my life. We called today to deliver food, and they said I'm sorry. We live 6 miles from the place and she did it far. I told her that in the last 1.5 years we have delivered food with success, and tonight she said we're sorry we didn't deliever there. She yelled at me and hung up. Then I called back and now the story changed, she didn't have enough riders and hung up. I asked to talk to the owner and hang them up. She told me my order was 53.00 when the menu was 32.00. "I feel very confident eating here, which is a big deal to me. They have “vegan options available” painted on their window, and vegan options are clearly denoted in the menu. The items are not inherently vegan, and you do need to specify that you want the “vegan tacos/burrito/chimichanga etc.”, but no need to specify “no cheese/sour cream” or ask if the refried beans are vegan. The woman who took my order knew exactly what vegan meant. You will actually need to choose your vegan meat substitute because there are OPTIONS! I got the soy chorizo, but there are many others, including mushroom chorizo. The menus posted on Yelp do not reflect the new vegan choices, so call ahead or pick up a paper menu at the restaurant. The food was EXCELLENT, came with complimentary chips and salsa, and it paired nicely with the watermelon agua fresca I ordered. (And, I got to keep the glass jar! The decor is very bright and sweet as well. We’ll definitely be returning!"
